TACTICAL PLANNING

The Tactical Planning function is a simplified version of Seatrack's Optimum Routing (an optional extra).  It indicates course options, including ETAs, derived from tidal information, forecast wind data and polars.

Forecast wind data is input by the user, not derived from a GRIB file (as it is in Optimum Routing).
